Enhanced Health Services
Enhanced Health Services includes Home Care Services, Dental Services and WV Healthy Start HAPI Project. Home Care Services specializes in skilled nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, medical social services, home care aid, and nutritional therapy. The Dental Clinic is a pediatric dental clinic geared for West Virginia children under 19 years of age. HAPI is designed to enhance medical management, to teach skills needed for a healthy pregnancy, and to promote continued wellness for the newborn and family.
Home Care Services
We know you will find our agency to be an experienced and professional home health agency. You will also realize that our staff cares about each of their patients, and the patients will not be just another number or statistic. We are concerned that the patient and the patient's family get through this time of illness with as little discomfort and cost as possible. Our qualified and competent staff is committed to providing the highest quality care possible to each patient. We are a Medicare-certified Home Health Agency. A patient has the right to choose which home health agency will provide their home health care. Dental Clinic and Oral Health Education
The Monongalia County Health Department’s Dental Clinic recommends that you help assure your child’s oral health by scheduling the first check-up by age 1. The Monongalia County Health Department’s Dental Clinic accepts most dental insurances, WV Medicaid and CHIP. All fees are based on a sliding fee scale depending on family size and annual income from the most recent Federal 1040 tax form. Dental Clinic Hours are 8:30 AM — 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. HAPI--Helping Appalachian Parents and Infants
This project is a joint effort between community health agencies, WV Office of Maternal, Child and Family Health and the Departments of OB/GYN and Pediatrics at WVU. The WV Healthy Start/HAPI Project is federally funded by Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). Services are provided by local Designated Care Coordinators who specialize in providing services to pregnant and parenting women through the Right From The Start Program.
