Our outreach team focuses on bringing care, resources and education to the people to improve the health of the community. Our team of public health educators and public health nurses collaborate with community leaders, organizations and other partners in all areas of Monongalia County to tailor programs and events to meet the needs of specific individuals or groups.
Some of our key focus areas include:
- Education on infectious and preventable diseases
- Vaccine education and vaccine clinics
- Naloxone training and distribution
- Community health surveys and assessments
Our outreach program is in the process of expanding our services to better meet the needs of the community and tackle new public health threats.
