MCHD Clinical Services offers services to people of all ages. We offer some services free or low-cost, and we also have sliding-fee pricing based on income. Most insurance can be billed and West Virginia Medicaid is accepted.
Free and confidential reproductive health services, including birth control prescriptions, supplies, emergency contraception and referral for sterilization for men and women, are available.
Physical exams, mammogram referrals, Pap tests and on-site evaluation and treatment of cervical problems are provided. Low-cost sexually transmitted infection (STI) screenings and free treatments are available. Our public health nurses are friendly, non-judgmental and have taken Safe Zone training through the WVU LBGTQ+ Center.
