Adult VaccinesMonongalia County Health Department offers a variety of vaccinations for adults aged 19 and older. Offered vaccines include influenza, Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis, aka whooping cough), pneumonia, yellow fever, hepatitis A, hepatitis B or combined as Twinrix, Shingrix (shingles); as well as those required by universities, employers and immigration.
Titers to verify immunity are offered at a cost. Titers can be done for such diseases as hepatitis B; measles, mumps and rubella (MMR); chickenpox (varicella), polio and rabies. |
