Dr. Lee B. Smith of Monongalia County Health Department is now conducting military exams for individuals seeking to enter a United States military academy or the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC).
The military service academies include:
United States Military Academy (West Point, New York)
United States Naval Academy (Annapolis, Maryland)
United States Air Force Academy (Colorado Springs, Colorado)
United States Coast Guard Academy (New London, Connecticut)
United States Merchant Marine Academy (Kings Point, New York)
Dr. Smith, accompanied by Lori Rose, RN, can complete the basic physical requirements of the exam, as outlined by the Department of Defense Medical Exam Testing System (DoDMETS).
The audiology and ophthalmology portions of the exam must be obtained elsewhere.
Service candidates will be assigned an exam location once they begin the application process. Military exams are free at Monongalia County Health Department.
